A smooth, curving ribbon of a road winds from the bottom of Kourtaliotiko Gorge towards the southern coast, soaring up to Moni Preveli and plunging down to palm-studded Preveli Beach. Although home to two of the region’s biggest draws, Preveli sees a lot of visitors but retains a feeling of remoteness.
